First there is one discrepency in this statement about the Pioneer 60” plasma. You refer to the tv as a Sony Purevision—it is a Pioneer Purevision, not to mention that Sony does not make plasmas at all. I looked and researched for televisions for many months and finally settled on this one. HDTV can be a little confusing with so many options. I have owned many Sony products in the past so I was leaning that way again. The Sony Purevision was the best in terms of price and picture quality. Blu Ray and HD DVD movies look amazing on the Sony Purevision. This flatpanel is put together well. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
