Eating out every meal can get old fast. At Candlewood Suites, our in-suite kitchens feature a full size refrigerator/freezer, cook-top, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, and yes, even the kitchen sink. So whether guests are in the mood to microwave a quick snack or whip up an elaborate dinner, everything they need is close at hand.
WORKSPACE
The large workspace provides our guests lots of elbow room to spread out those spreadsheets. There is also a comfortable desk chair with overhead lighting positioned to provide just the right illumination. With the coffee maker nearby, guests can brew up a pot and be good to go whenever they need to catch up on office work.

Sometimes, our hotel guests must use the suite as a temporary office as well as a home. That’s why we provide hotel suite amenities such as free local telephone calls and two phone lines with a dataport. And now, Candlewood Suites features high speed internet access. Absolutely free.
THE CANDLEWOOD CUPBOARD®
With the Candlewood Cupboard only steps away, guests can pick-up a variety of food, beverage, and even toiletry items whenever they want. Our honor payment system means they don’t have to dig for change. Ever. They simply fill out a purchase slip and drop it in the payment slot. The Cupboard features our convenient Brown Bag Breakfast that includes choice of breakfast menus for one fixed cost. So it’s easy to grab breakfast the night before or get it to go early in the morning.
THE CANDLEWOOD GAZEBO GRILL
Sometimes, food just tastes better on the grill. And when our guests have a craving for a juicy burger, steak, or even grilled veggies, they just fire up the gas grill at the Candlewood Gazebo Grill. There’s even an outdoor dining area for eating under the stars.
THE GUEST LAUNDRY
Our Guest Laundry, available 24 hours daily, provides washers and dryers to make taking care of life’s necessities a little easier. And no quarters are needed because it’s free. Detergent and other laundry supplies are available for a nominal cost.
THE LENDING LIBRARY
Hotel guests can make popcorn, pour a cold drink, settle back in their over stuffed recliner, and catch up on movie viewing in the comfort of their suite. Each hotel suite features a VCR and CD player so guests may enjoy a free video or CD from the Lending Library whenever a little R&R is in order.

  I first stayed at Candlewood Suites about 7 years ago while traveling through the Atlanta area. The location was convenient, but the incredible rate I received was the ultimate reason behind my choice. I’m not sure if my favorite part of Candlewood is the free laundry, the honor system cupboard or the .25 drinks. I travel 2 weeks out of the month and when booking my travel arrangements, I always look for Candlewood first. The rooms are clean and nice, the beds are comfortable and I would suggest looking for a Candlewood next time you travel.

I agree that candlewood is a great value with plenty of extra “perks” to make being away from home a little more comfortable. The problem I had was the bed felt like I was sleeping on stone. Maybe the bed in a hotel/motel is not so important to some, but I see it as one of the most important considerations for staying at a hotel/motel.
