Description:
Ever wonder what it’s like to play nine innings in the Bigs? MLB 07: The Show lets you find out! In new Road to The Show Mode, you’ll play offense and defense through a first-person view. You can even fast-forward to the next point in the game where you’re involved. Other new features include Adaptive Pitching Intelligence, which has catchers calling the game based on strengths, weaknesses, and habits of pitchers and hitters. Trust your catcher or shake him off. The game really takes off online, where you can share game settings, get MLB news and real-time scores, set up fully customizable leagues for up to 30 teams, and more.
Easy on Torre…He needs a break. The game sounds like it’s pretty well thought out. I’d like to know more about the adaptive pitching intelligence. I’m sure that adds some new challenges to hitting.

MLB “The Show” ‘07 beats MLB 2K7 in gameplay. The pitching and hitting is way ahead of 2K7. The only thing better on 2K7 is the ESPN announcers, but they don’t impact the gameplay.
If you are looking for a realistic baseball game on the PS3 that you can actually pitch and get hits, then The Show is for you.
The graphics are “OK” .. I wasn’t blown away, but certainly much better than playing MLB ‘06 on PS/2. For some good laughs, check out Joe Torre on the Yankees – poor guy looks horrible.
