Sound quality is great. Retails for $100 bones however it is high quality recording both voice and music. Doubles as a MP3 player. It advertises 138hrs of record time but that is the lowest quality. It is more like 17 hours. I use it primaraly as a study guide. I have read all of my notes from a 1200 page certification manual into it and a Dave Mathews CD and I still have over half the space left. Total capacity is 512MB. Also it is PNP (plug-n-play) via usb so it is great. Definitely recommend it over the other Digital recorders. Be careful of paying any less then $80 bucks for one. All of the $60 dollar versions were either low recording quality or they did not transfer the files back and forth from pc to recorder well. Boost your learning while you drive!
