The transit system of London is amazing. Considering that I live in a city where the concept of mass transit…well…it is nonexistent any transit system would be an improvement! Last January I traveled to London for two week. As I am one who is very attached to my car keys I was wondering how this would work! My lodging was approximately two blocks from a station. Let me say, that station was my best friend! I traveled all about the city by using my Oyster card. This is a wonderful deal for a traveler. Rarely did I venture outside of the regular zones of the card. I easily ventured from Harrod’s to St. Paul’s without problem. I was fortunate that I was traveling in the winter months, though. I have heard that during the summer it is not so pleasant! I was quite pleased though…..
