I am a woodworker and my model is much older. I paid (sort of) around $140.00 for mine back in ‘99. I was looking for a cordless drill that could be dropped from an 8ft ladder several times and keep ticking. Well I got it. But I am a woodworker and tend to use my tools frequently. It isn’t very fashionable but sure is durable. It usually retails for $30 less then the prettier Dewalt. Don’t pay for the color pay for the quality. I also have an older model biscuit joiner. Porter cable is for men who want a real drill without paying for the flash.
