It looks like a legitamte alternative to upgrading a Kitchen. My wife and I have been looking to move closer to town for convienence however we cannot afford a new home so we have been forced to look at older homes. Outdated cabinets have been a big issue. However I have begun research on refacing cabinets and it looks pretty easy. I have worked with laminates before and they are very easy to work with and much more durable then they have been given credit for. Actually laminate plywood is stronger then solid wood believe it or not. This is due to alternating grain provides added strength. Has anyone used this method before. Look at the results they are amazing. I love custom cabinets but how much do you really want to spend upgrading your home for resale.
