When I traveled to London and Germany for a two week business trip one concern I had was connectivity. I wanted to remain connected to my family across the pond without breaking the pocketbook! A friend told me about Skype at that point. It ended up being exactly what I was looking for. I put the software on both my home and work computers. With webcams on both- I was able to stay connected to my family. My little girl probably wondered how mommy got into the box but she still saw and talked to me. So, I purchased one in my zip. Thus, the rest of the family could call my Skype number with no long distance charges AND I had free voicemail! I know that there are other options on the internet for similar services; however, my experience with Skype was wonderful. As a matter of fact, I will more than likely stick with this for my next trip abroad instead of checking into one of the other options out there.
